RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received Letters of Acceptance (LoAs) from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for two packages related to integrated tunnel communication systems.
The combined estimated value of the two orders stands at ₹5,64,54,99,606, including taxes, according to the company’s regulatory filings on Tuesday, 14 April.
The contracts involve the supply, installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) of integrated tunnel communication systems, including VHF simplex systems, CCTV systems, public address systems and emergency call points across tunnels and associated stations.
Under Package 1, RailTel will execute works covering tunnels T-1 to T-7 and associated stations over a section length of 42.7 Km. The estimated order value for this package is ₹3,09,27,70,781, including taxes.
Under Package 2, the scope includes tunnels T-8 to T-11 along with 4 stations over a section length of 36 Km. The estimated value of this package is ₹2,55,27,28,825, including taxes.
Both orders are to be executed by 12 April 2028.
RailTel stated that there is no promoter or related party interest involved in the awarding entity, and the contracts do not fall under related party transactions.
