Mumbai, October 30, 2026: Dilip Buildcon Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a ₹688.23 crore project to construct a 9.66-km four-lane elevated road corridor in Solapur, Maharashtra. The proposed corridor will connect Old Pune Naka and Boramani Naka along National Highway 65 (NH-65), with a stipulated construction period of 24 months.
In a stock exchange filing dated October 29, the infrastructure company confirmed receipt of the Letter of Award, following its earlier disclosure on September 28, 2026.
The project covers the NH-65 stretch from kilometre 0.050 to kilometre 9.710 within Solapur city. Its scope includes the elevated corridor and approach roads required to connect it to the existing road network.
Once operational, the corridor could improve connectivity between Old Pune Naka and Boramani Naka and help traffic move more smoothly through the area. However, the company has not disclosed projected travel-time savings or an estimated reduction in congestion.
According to the regulatory filing, the project is valued at ₹688.23 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The contract has been awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), a highway development arrangement in which the government and private developer share project financing responsibilities. The developer receives payments in accordance with the applicable contract terms.
Dilip Buildcon has a stipulated construction period of 24 months, followed by an operational period of 15 years from the commercial operation date (COD).
The operational period will begin once the project reaches its designated commercial operation stage, rather than from the date of the award.
The filing confirms that the company has received the Letter of Award but does not specify when construction will begin. It also does not provide a confirmed date for opening the elevated corridor to traffic.
The project adds to Dilip Buildcon’s highway infrastructure portfolio and represents a new road development assignment in Maharashtra.
In its disclosure, the company confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter-group companies have an interest in the authority awarding the contract. It also stated that the transaction does not constitute a related-party transaction.
The planned elevated corridor will provide a four-lane road connection along the designated section of NH-65 in Solapur. Its impact on traffic movement will depend on the project’s completion and integration with the existing road network.
