Indore, October 27, 2026: Highway Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a ₹91.78 crore contract to operate Baiti Kala Fee Plaza and collect tolls on the Sultanpur–Varanasi highway in Uttar Pradesh. The contract has a stipulated execution period of one year.

The Indore-based company disclosed the award to the BSE and National Stock Exchange on October 26, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

According to the stock exchange filing, the contract is valued at ₹91,77,77,777 and covers toll collection operations at Baiti Kala Fee Plaza, located at design kilometre 175.050 on the four-lane Sultanpur–Varanasi section of National Highway 56 (NH-56), now designated NH-731.

The highway section extends from design kilometre 134.700 to kilometre 209.230, corresponding to existing kilometre markers 134.700 to 205.000, in Uttar Pradesh.

Awarded through an electronic tender process, the contract covers the operation of the designated toll plaza and the collection of user fees from motorists using it.

In addition to toll collection, Highway Infrastructure will be responsible for maintaining adjacent toilet blocks and replenishing essential consumable items.

These responsibilities form part of the operational and maintenance requirements of the one-year assignment.

The award concerns toll collection and associated facility maintenance rather than the construction of a new highway or toll plaza.

Highway Infrastructure confirmed that NHAI issued the Letter of Acceptance on October 26. However, the filing does not specify when the company will begin toll collection operations.

The disclosed ₹91.78 crore represents the contract’s stated value. It does not mean the company has already received the amount or earned an equivalent sum in profit.

The filing also does not provide a breakdown of operating expenses, expected profit margins or the contract’s anticipated contribution to the company’s earnings.

As part of its regulatory disclosure, Highway Infrastructure stated that its promoters and promoter-group companies have no interest in NHAI, the authority awarding the contract.

The company also confirmed that the award does not constitute a related-party transaction.

The contract gives Highway Infrastructure responsibility for toll collection and associated facility maintenance at Baiti Kala Fee Plaza on the Sultanpur–Varanasi section of NH-731 for a stipulated one-year period.
