Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its first flex fuel motorcycles, launching flex fuel-ready versions of the Splendor+ and HF Deluxe in the 100cc segment.
In a statement on Wednesday, 3 June, the company said the launch marks the introduction of India’s first flex fuel motorcycles in the 100cc segment.
Both motorcycles are compatible with ethanol-blended fuels ranging from E20 to E85.
The motorcycles were unveiled in New Delhi ahead of World Environment Day in the presence of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Hero MotoCorp Chief Executive Officer Harshavardhan Chitale.
Hero MotoCorp said the motorcycles have been engineered for everyday commuting and are designed to offer a practical mobility solution without compromising on performance or affordable ownership.
The flex fuel portfolio will be introduced in Delhi and select regions of Maharashtra in July 2026, followed by a nationwide rollout soon thereafter.
The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel will be priced at ₹72,792, ex-showroom Delhi, while the Splendor+ Flex Fuel will be priced at ₹82,710, ex-showroom Delhi.
Both motorcycles are powered by a 97.2cc engine. With E85 fuel, the engine produces 6.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

The Splendor+ Flex Fuel comes with Hero’s patented i3S idle-stop-start technology, a new digi-analogue instrument cluster, side stand engine cut-off, tubeless tyres, revised ECU and upgraded fuel system components for flex fuel capability.
The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel also gets a new digi-analogue instrument cluster, side stand engine cut-off, tubeless tyres, revised ECU and upgraded fuel system components for flex fuel capability.
Both motorcycles will be offered in a new Black with Lime Yellow graphics option.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Gadkari said, “India is rapidly advancing the adoption of alternative fuels and cleaner mobility technologies. Hero MotoCorp’s introduction of Flex Fuel motorcycles in the mass segment is a significant step towards reducing crude oil imports, supporting ethanol adoption, empowering farmers, and strengthening the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat”.
Petroleum minister Puri said India is steadily building a future-ready mobility ecosystem powered by cleaner and domestically produced fuels.
“The introduction of Flex Fuel vehicles by Hero MotoCorp is another important milestone in our journey towards enhanced energy security, lower carbon emissions and reduced dependence on imported crude oil. Such innovations will further strengthen India’s biofuels ecosystem, create greater value for our farmers and support the vision of a self-reliant and sustainable energy future under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Puri added.

With minimal-to-no import content, our motorcycles strongly reflect India’s disruptive capabilities in manufacturing, while reinforcing the Government of India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat and long-term energy security,” Hero MotoCorp CEO Chitale said.
