Track construction works are progressing on the viaduct section of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor in Gujarat’s Navsari, the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) said in a post on X.
NHSRCL, which is the implementing agency for the 508 Km Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, shared a video showing ongoing track works on the elevated viaduct structure.
According to the corporation, multiple processes including track slab laying, CAM injection filling, and track slab adjustment are currently being carried out in coordination as part of the track installation works.
These processes form part of the specialised track system designed for high-speed rail operations and are aimed at ensuring precise alignment and long-term structural stability of the track infrastructure.

“The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project is progressing at full speed. In this shot, track slab laying, CAM injection filling, and track slab adjustment works are being carried out in coordination,” NHSRCL said.
“Each process is executed with precision to ensure proper alignment, structural stability, and readiness for high-speed operations,” the corporation added.
The 508 Km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor is India’s first bullet train project and is being developed using Japan’s Shinkansen technology. The project includes a mix of elevated viaducts, bridges, tunnels, and station infrastructure across Gujarat and Maharashtra.
