The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has partnered with Google to enable residents to locate authorised Aadhaar centres across the country through Google Maps, in a move aimed at improving accessibility and transparency in Aadhaar services.
Under the collaboration, users will be able to search and identify nearby verified Aadhaar centres and view details such as the types of services offered, including new enrolment, child enrolment, and updates related to address or mobile number.
The platform will also display key information such as operating hours, accessibility features including divyang-friendly infrastructure, and parking availability wherever applicable, helping residents plan their visits more efficiently.

The facility is expected to be rolled out in the coming months and will cover more than 60,000 Aadhaar centres nationwide, including Aadhaar Seva Kendras and other authorised enrolment locations.
UIDAI Chief Executive Officer Bhuvnesh Kumar said the initiative is intended to simplify access to Aadhaar services and make it easier for residents to find authorised centres with confidence.
In later phases, UIDAI plans to integrate Google Business Profile tools to manage centre information and respond to user feedback, while also exploring the option of enabling appointment bookings directly through Google Maps.
“By joining hands with UIDAI to integrate verified Aadhaar centres, we are making it easier for millions of residents to find trusted services with confidence and bridging the gap between essential government infrastructure and the people who need it most,” said Roli Agarwal, Country Head, Strategic Partnerships at Google India.
