India’s civil aviation growth narrative will take centre stage at Wings India 2026, Asia’s largest aviation event, scheduled to be held at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad from January 28 to 31.

The four-day event is expected to draw aviation policymakers, global aircraft manufacturers, airline executives, airport operators, investors and technology firms, reflecting India’s growing footprint in the global civil aviation sector.

Wings India 2026 will focus on India’s expansion across passenger traffic, aircraft induction, airport infrastructure and regional connectivity over the past decade. The event will also examine the country’s emerging role in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, pilot training, aerospace manufacturing, air cargo and advanced air mobility.

According to the event programme, Wings India 2026 will feature an international exhibition, static and flying aircraft displays, aerobatic performances, and a multi-track global aviation conference. Ministerial-level sessions, CEO forums, industry roundtables and business-to-business and business-to-government meetings are also planned.

Foreign delegations from more than 20 countries are scheduled to participate, alongside representatives from Indian states. Several global and domestic aviation companies, including aircraft manufacturers, airlines and airport developers, have confirmed their participation.

Conference discussions will cover airport development, aircraft leasing, helicopters and business aviation, MRO and component manufacturing, air cargo logistics, sustainable aviation fuel, drones, advanced air mobility, skilling initiatives and women’s participation in aviation.

The event will also include an aviation job fair and a student innovation competition aimed at connecting industry requirements with skilled manpower and encouraging future-focused research and entrepreneurship.

With large-scale aircraft displays, extensive international participation and a packed conference agenda, Wings India 2026 is expected to serve as a key platform for assessing India’s long-term aviation trajectory and its integration into global air transport networks.
