Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday, 6 July, reviewed the progress of projects being developed by National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) across the country.
The review meeting was held in New Delhi and covered project-level progress of Multi Modal Logistics Parks, ropeways, intermodal stations and wayside amenities.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Gadkari assessed the status of these projects and reviewed the key challenges affecting their implementation.
The ministry said the projects are aimed at building an integrated transport ecosystem by strengthening multimodal connectivity and improving logistics infrastructure.

During the meeting, Gadkari directed the concerned stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks on priority and expedite project execution.
The minister said timely completion of the projects would improve logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
He also said the projects would provide improved infrastructure and amenities for commuters.
The ministry said the initiatives being taken up by NHLML are expected to unlock economic opportunities, support balanced regional development and improve India’s logistics competitiveness.
The review also focused on the need to complete multimodal infrastructure projects faster so that their benefits can be realised across logistics, transport and commuter services
