New Delhi, October 14, 2026: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a government-owned defence electronics company, has secured additional orders worth ₹533 crore covering communication equipment, drones, jammers, cybersecurity solutions and other electronic systems. The orders were received after the company’s previous disclosure on September 17, 2026.
According to BEL’s October 13 announcement, the orders also include avionics, which are electronic systems used in aircraft, along with software solutions, equipment upgrades, spare parts and related services.
The orders cover several areas of BEL’s business, including electronic communications, aviation electronics and cybersecurity. Jammers are devices used to disrupt electronic signals, while cybersecurity systems help protect computer networks and digital infrastructure.
BEL’s announcement did not identify the customers, disclose individual contract values or specify delivery timelines. It also did not provide details about the types of drones and jammers ordered or their intended applications.
The ₹533 crore figure represents the combined value of additional orders received since the company’s September 17 disclosure, rather than the value of a single contract.
BEL is a Navratna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. The company develops and manufactures electronic equipment and systems for defence and other applications, including communication technologies, surveillance equipment and electronic warfare systems.
The latest orders add to BEL’s reported business across communications, aviation electronics, cybersecurity and other technologies. However, the company has not provided a breakdown of the order value across these categories.
