Lucknow, August 30: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 250 development projects worth more than ₹435 crore across Deoria and Gorakhpur.
In Deoria, Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 80 development projects worth ₹305 crore in the Salempur and Bhatpar Rani Assembly constituencies.
In Gorakhpur, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 170 projects worth more than ₹130 crore across the city. The projects include works of the Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation and the Gorakhpur Development Authority.
The combined package covers separate development works across the two districts rather than a single project. In Gorakhpur, the 170 projects include 140 projects of the municipal corporation and 30 projects of the Gorakhpur Development Authority.
During the programme, Adityanath also dedicated a Kalyan Mandapam at Basharatpur in Rapti Nagar, Gorakhpur, for public use.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said, “From the land of grace of the revered Devaraha Baba in Deoria to the sacred abode of penance of Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakhnath Ji in Gorakhpur, today the journey of good governance, development, and public welfare will gain new momentum.”
