BEML secures $36.38 million export order from Middle East for heavy equipment supply

BEML Limited has secured an export order worth $36.38 million from the Middle East for the supply of heavy earth moving equipment.

In a regulatory filing on Monday, 13 April, the company stated that the order has been awarded as part of the company’s regular business operations and will involve the supply of equipment used in large-scale construction and infrastructure activities.

“BEML Limited has secured an export order of USD 36.38 million from Middle East region for the supply of heavy Earth Moving Equipment for infrastructure development applications,” the company said.

With this contract, BEML’s total international order bookings have reached approximately $106.95 million.

“With this, BEML’s international order bookings as on date stands at approximately USD 106.95 million. This is in normal course of business,” the company added.

BEML, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, manufactures a wide range of products across defence, rail, mining and construction sectors.

The company is known for producing high-mobility vehicles, metro coaches, and heavy-duty equipment used in mining and infrastructure projects.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, BEML operates manufacturing facilities across India.

The company has been actively increasing its presence in international markets, supplying equipment to regions in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
