India Energy Week 2026 underway in Goa, bringing together global energy leaders, policymakers and industry participants.

India Energy Week 2026 will be held from 27 to 30 January at ONGC ATI in Goa, bringing together global energy ministers, industry leaders, policymakers, financial institutions, academia and technology providers at a critical moment for the global energy sector.

The event is expected to be the largest edition so far, with participation from over 75,000 delegates, more than 600 exhibitors – including 180 international exhibitors – and over 500 global speakers across 120 conference sessions. The scale of participation reflects the growing role India is playing in shaping global energy discussions.

The conference will focus on strengthening energy security, catalysing investment and advancing practical decarbonisation pathways. India Energy Week is positioned as the first major international energy event of the year, providing a platform for dialogue on technology, markets and sustainability.

Seventeen ministers and deputy ministers from countries including the UAE, Canada, the Netherlands, Oman, Brunei, Myanmar and Tanzania are expected to participate, along with international organisations such as the International Energy Forum, BIMSTEC and the Eurasian Economic Union.

The exhibition will be organised across 11 thematic zones covering areas such as digitalisation and artificial intelligence, hydrogen, renewable energy, petrochemicals, biofuels, LNG, city gas distribution, Make in India initiatives and net-zero solutions. New additions this year include dedicated zones on nuclear energy and sustainable aviation fuel.

The conference programme will be structured around 10 strategic themes, featuring four ministerial sessions, 47 leadership and spotlight panel discussions, and five one-on-one Energy Talks with senior global energy leaders.

India Energy Week 2026 is also expected to facilitate concrete business outcomes, with several agreements and memoranda of understanding proposed during the event across shipbuilding, crude oil supply, LNG sourcing and sustainable aviation fuel projects.

A series of high-level side events and roundtables are planned alongside the main conference, including engagements with global CEOs, country-specific energy dialogues and thematic discussions on emerging energy technologies and cooperation.

The event will also place emphasis on innovation and start-up participation through initiatives such as startup challenges, hackathons involving IITs and the launch of key knowledge products, including reports on bioenergy and sustainable aviation fuel.

India Energy Week 2026 is positioned as a platform to balance energy security, economic growth and sustainability while reinforcing India’s role as a significant global energy hub.
